Rent A Dome For December Delights

Where: Four Mile Historic Park, 715 S Forest St, Denver, CO 80246
The seasonal attractions at Four Mile Historic Park never disappoint, and winter is no exception. Through the month of December, guests can enjoy Christmas carols from the Colorado Caroling Company and music by the Dapper Brass Band in Grant Hall. There’s also brunch with Santa, and several crafting attractions for guests of all ages. You can also rent a dome to have your own outdoor VIP room with up to 8 people, with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options available. Get all the details here.
Thornton Winterfest
When: December 9-11, 2022 (Friday – Sunday)
Where: Carpenter Park Fields, 108th Ave & Colorado Blvd, Thornton, CO
This traditional winter holiday festival has something to bring joy to just about everyone this holiday season. The chip-timed 5k starts on Saturday at 10 am. If you enjoy a more casual pace, the untimed Fun Run/Walk starts at the same time. The Holiday Marketplace offers a warmer indoor attraction for guests who want to browse the seasonal offerings or finish up some shopping. If you plan on staying into Saturday evening, you can attend the holiday concert featuring the Thornton Community Band for free. Candlelight Concert: Holiday Special
When: December 21 – 23, 2022
Where: Kirk of Highland, 3011 Vallejo St, Denver, CO
Lights twinkle and senses tingle at this live-music event featuring seasonal favorites, including musical selections from The Nutcracker and more. This concert features a string quartet and promises a joyous atmosphere for everyone who attends. Winter Brew Fest
When: January 28, 2022 (Saturday)
Where: Mile High Station, 2027 W Colfax Ave, Denver, CO
If you’re looking for a beer festival with a big heart, look no further. This year’s Winter Brew Fest benefits Big Bones Canine Rescue, a local nonprofit that helps Denver dogs find new homes. While you can’t bring your pooch to this event, you can be sure that they’ll be proud of you for helping shelter pets. With a selection of food trucks and live music, this one-day-only event attracts enough people to need 2 sessions. Whether you go in the afternoon or the evening, there’s a flavor for every taste here, with a selection of more than 80 beverages, from ciders to seltzers. Winter Whiskey Tasting Festival
When: January 28, 2022 (Saturday)
Where: Around Denver
Prefer whiskey over beer for your winter festivities? The Winter Whiskey Tasting Festival is the perfect opportunity for an adventurous night out while you sample the best bourbon, scotch, and rye. The tasting starts in the afternoon at the Blake Street Tavern and wraps up at 6 pm, leaving plenty of time to make plans for afterward or make your way home for the evening. There are 4 ticket types available, with the Exclusive pass offering 20 tasting cups, a buffet, and a whiskey gift along with exclusive samples.
